Default Motorcycle Mechanic School

Hey
Im interested in going to a school for motorcycle mechanic. I have been looking into wyotech, psi, and MMI. I have found reviews on all of them but there a few years old I was wondering if anyone could give me some up to date info on what they think of these schools. I was leaning away from MMI but after calling numerous harley dealership and have them say they mostly higher out of MMI I have started to reconsider.
Thanks
Sibs

A few years back I was courted by UTI/MMI to be their representative in my area (which I declined for personal reasons). They flew me out to Arizona and I spent a few days there learning about the schools. Let me just say that if I had a child who was interested in mecoming an auto or motorcycle technician I would, WITHOUT A DOUBT, send them to UTI or MMI. They are aligned with the manufacturers and really do a great job.
That is not to say the others are not good, but my experience on the inside really impressed the heck out of me. Hope this helps.

Whatever you do, be sure to learn your craft well, be honest with your customers, and never, EVER, put a band aid on something just to get it out of the shop, when there is a deeper problem.

I was recently looking a WCC in Ann Arbor, MI. A LOT cheaper than MMI and closer to me. Looks like a good program with extensive Dyno training.

I agree, there is a lot of mechanics that just rig things to get them out of the shop......nothing more embarrasing than fixing something and have the owner return with the same problem.
