I think if the correct deal was put together it could work. I've called a couple of the main motorcycle training schools and asked if they offer a much shorter course than a certified tech course for guy or gals that wanted to learn stuff such as this. Neither school offered this kind of mini course but said they get a ton of calls inquiring about the same from guys. They believed if someone would put together a course like this they could make a mint. So ya never know

My local community college offered "Motorcycle Mechanics", featuring mechanical/electrical and performance tuning. This was about 1980.
We had our own bikes to work on, and Honda gave the college a new Goldwing and 2 complete goldwing engines...
Fun class as the instructor was a mobile motorcycle mechanic. Sure wish this program was available to every rider in the world.
