So, earlier this year I picked up my 02 EG Classic (Which I LOVE!!)
I was thinking, it shouldn't be a problem selling my 2000 Heritage.
Guess again!!! I can't Give that thing away.
Well I guess I could. I was hoping to get at least 8 for it. No go!!
I've got way to much in it. I can't really justify (afford) having 3 motorcycles (wife's incl)
So should I just sell it cheap - or do the right thing and sell the EG?
Not that it's worth that much more (I can probl re coup my 10K I pd for it)
But the EG is a more desirable model and will most likely sell quicker.
Well you have the EG... That's the bike you really want.
If you sell it for what you owe, and keep the Heritage, you'll still be upside down in the heritage. SO you can take a 2k bath on the heritage, or TRY to sell the EG and get out of it even... Odds are, right now going into winter time, you won't get out of it even, either.
Are these bikes financed or do you own them all outright ?
Seems like there's lots of used bikes out there for sale, but they're not selling.
I paid $6500 for my 1999 Heritage a couple of months ago. The guy had no takers at $8000, dropped it to $5500 and he had eight messages on his phone when he got home. I offered $6500 and he took it.
