You guys bitch and complain about customer service when ordering online. I totally don't get it.
Why don't you go to an actual store and talk to an actual person? Oh yeah because all they want to do is rip you off and charge too much. But you will order online form some place that all they do is drop ship and then bitch about customer service.
I ordered a total of 6 items from them. Two primary and two transmission oils. I also ordered a pingel petcock.
I got the oil a surprising two days later! I thought wow!
After looking thru the box, there was no petcock or note saying it was on backorder, etc. I waited a few more days and still no petcock. So, I opened a ticket. It was explained to me that the item was being shipped from somewhere else and would arrive at their facility in a day or two and would ship promptly after arrival.
Similar experience here. Ordered S&S heads and a gasket kit from them. I had tight timing issues on the entire rebuild.
Everything on one invoice so I expected everything together. Received the gaskets in two days, maybe three. Kept waiting for another notice that the heads were shipped. Finally sent the an email. Was told that the parts were on back order from S&S and wouldn't be available for nearly a month. I couldn't wait that long so I cancelled the other part of the order and found another seller who would take PayPal and could ship immediately. Cost a few dollars more.
Would I order from them again? Doubtful. They do tend to have the lowest cost on many things. I suppose if you allow for the delays, you could do business with them.
Yes, this is my first post, but I thought I would add my experience with Cycleplicity to this thread since I read through this thread prior to purchasing from them. I was looking for a set of Cobra 6020b slip-ons for my 2011 Ultra Classic. Cycleplicity did have the best price even after shipping costs and I wasn't in a hurry to receive the pipes, so I took a chance.
I ordered on 7/17/2014 and received an email right after ordering with the details. On 7/19, I received an email from Cycleplicity with UPS tracking number and the pipes were delivered on 7/21. Overall, I'm happy with the purchase. From my experience (and others that I have read here), I would use them again as long as I wasn't in hurry to receive the order and I wasn't buying a lot of parts for one project.
I bought from them recently - I'd read this thread and a few other reviews and decided that most of the complaints were related to long ship times, and not being in a rush, and the best price I could find, I went ahead.
My order was processed and shipped promptly.

I ordered the monotubes and installed them this afternoon - the dive on applying the front brake most certainly appears better - I feel it's a fair improvement all round, but haven't used it long enough to give an honest review.
I ordered a Burley Slammer Kit from them yesterday, when I received the email conformation of the order 10:03am I noticed the wrong P/N for the Kit ( my fault) I immediately emailed and called to cancel the order (within an hour) I was told they would do their best. I got an email @10:56 am stating such. I then got an email at 6:30 pm stating that the item had shipped before they could cancel it, and then a shipping conformation at 7:43 pm.
they told me to contact the return dpt when the part arrives. I will let you guys know how it works out. fingers crossed but I have a feeling this might be an issue.

both orders showed up rather quickly, now lets see how the return process goes, so far the CS over the phone has been pretty good.

Sorry I am getting to this late but I had THE WORSE business transaction ever with this company. It took weeks to resolve my issue and I ended up raising an issue with paypal because they never sent the item I ordered. I wish that was it but it wasn't and I don't feel like going into it. The customer service is the worse ever.
Has anyone bought from or had any experience with a website called http://cycleplicity.com
They have great prices, but could be a sham. They don't come up on resellers.com.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks,
I bought progressive 422 for 314 shipped ...had them in 2 days
