Default Rainbow effect

I just put a new(to me) windshield on my Wide Glide and when I am driving into the sun I get rainbow colors around the edges. Never having one before I don't know if this is normal or what. Is there something I can apply to it to get rid of the rainbow?

i have found that this can happen with a new windshield and polorized sunglasses. try switching to non polorized and see if the effect goes away.

I agree...I would suspect polarized sunglasses are the cause.

Getting rid of polarized sunglasses? I had to do that with my clip-ons when I got my tinted face shield and it sucks. But I like my tinted shield more.

I haven't ever had one. And to be honest, after 20 miles with it I don't think I will ever be without one now. It's not anything to do with the wind, It's solely about the bugs.
I started considering getting one after getting pelted with those little orange lady bugs and the green Japanese beetles.
Around here they are THICK! The Japanese beetles will leave welts on your face.

It's either the sunglasses or that bong hit.
