A Rare Post
I went on a 248 mile ride today in mid 70's, blue sky and light breeze.
Not a single vehicle pulled out in front of me,tail gated or did a close left turn. The mpg was just over 50 and gas just went down to $3.179.
I stopped at the dealer's and left without spending a dime and had a free cup of coffee. When I got home at 5PM my wife had just set the table for dinner.
I was only doing 55 which is the rural speed limit and the county had a radar trap tucked in a cemetery driveway. Usually my CVO wants to fly in the country.
Down side. I forgot to buy lotto tickets!

"We have been asked to stand in honor of and escort Sgt William Dewitt Brown III, US Army, upon his arrival at Hurlburt Field on 30 Sep 13, at 1300 hours. Sgt. Brown died Sept. 19, in Laghman Province, Afghanistan, from a non-combat incident. Sgt. Brown was assigned to the 94th Brigade Support Battalion, 4th Brigade Combat Team, 10th Mountain Division (Light Infantry), Fort Polk, La."
.....as once again Military Personnel, and Patriot Guard Riders received another fallen brother and escorted him to his final resting place. Yes indeed, a day to be thankful for... God and Country and those who pay the ultimate price for these freedoms.
