Why is this? Human nature I suppose. But today I'm going against the grain and posting a unique thread with nothing but good news.
The weather in the northeast has been incredible riding weather--sunny and 70s for the past week and more to come next week.
My bike's running great.
I have spare time to ride.
Wife and kids are healthy and life is all around pretty good.
Well, there you go.
We all should take a moment to post when things are going well.
So much doom and gloom in these threads...hell, that's no fun.

Fair amount of riding, yesterday was an afternoon trip to the Finger Lake region, visited a Micro-brew pub and sip-sampled several seasonal offerings. Bought a growler of my favorite home to sample larger quantities safely at my leisure.
Still breaking in my recent mods on the bike, the old girl runs like a champ, and has lots more steam. I'm a happy camper.

Nothing like turning 30-40 old farts loose on a race track, all kinds of bikes, all levels of skills, then letting side car rigs out to weave through us as we we did our best to mimic racers on the track. Great fun, and we managed to do our laps without anyone doing anything damaging.
