First post here - I was told there are other 14 Twin Cooled buyers on here who have also had serious issues with the system - but more importantly - I heard there are owners on here who were able to get their bikes returned/exchanged. My highlights are:
- 14 LTD purchased 7 SEP
- Day of purchase at 62 miles, dump on garage floor about 12 ounces (dealer and Moco tech line refer to this as "the burp" which is "required"
- At 111 miles, dump 6 ounces
- At 501 dump 2 ounces
- At 1100, dump 12 ounces in the dealer parking lot
- On Sat 28 SEP, dealer recharged & refilled
- I rode 18 miles and it "poured out" emptying the overflow jug
If I may ask for some input from others in similar predicaments. Suggestions appreciated.
Right now bike is at dealer - I have told GM we will make a decision on THU at noon.

I don't know how relevant this will be to the issue but I had the same EXACT problem on my R6 a little over a year ago. I would go for a ride and when I shut off the bike, what was in the reservoir would dump out via the overflow tube. I brought it in to the dealer and they replaced the Radiator cap. Problem solved and it has not returned since.
Apparently what happened was that the seal on the cap was not seating correctly and was not holding everything in when the bike was shut off.
On a side note (for whatever this is worth), if the coolant is glycol based and you are worried about it getting on your tires, I run distilled water/ water wetter mixture during track season. That way if it gets on your tires, your tires won't become slick since it is a non glycol based mixture. Just don't let it freeze.
