The fuel in all but the northwestern most part of Arkansas comes from Exxon. Proprietary additives are added by the end user. Their are a hand full of retailers around the central part of the state who profess to sell ethanol free fuels. I buy their fuel for my smaller engines.
ps. oops, I didn't mean to be a total thread robber. My 06' has 66K+ on the original fuel filter. Talk around here is they kept upping the millage every year, and are still using the same part number, so..... Guess I'll do mine before long. Time to do tensioners as well.

25 K is what mine says, no idea what other service manuals say.
for touring bikes. my 2010 manual said every 25k. my wife's 2012 manual said every 100k. so it changed somewhere between 2010 and 2012. the funny part of it is that the part number was the same for my 2010 as it was for my wife's 2012
Damn dude, how do you do that on the road?
100 miles from nowhere I get my gas wherever I can
Serious respect for the IBA, but that's not me. Out and back rarely goes over 300 miles. This is just fun time along PCH and through the mountains. It's California, I'm hardly ever 100 miles from a decent gas station.
