I live in new braunfels, tx. (20 miles fron san antonio) and in 4 years have never gone more then 2 weeks without riding. The hill country roads here are awesome and will take you anywhere that the superslab will take you with a lot more fun. The state is motorcycle friendly. (well except for the soccer mom's SUV's while on the cell phone)

I'm not opposed to using heated riding gear to keep the riding season open all year long. I won't usually start out in the rain, but I don't mind taking rain gear with me.

I was on the east coast all last week (Philadelphis are, Boston, Manassas, VA, and Orlando). It was obvious the riders in the northern cities were not going to be riding much longer. Orlando was beautiful in October.

I'm leaning towards the Dallas area, Nashville, Arizona, and possibly Arkansas. Weather.com is some help, but I would like to hear from riders that actually live in the area and actually ride.
Depends on the weather, I live in the NE and can usually ride into December. January and February can be a little iffy... your mileage may vary.

More of a personal tolerance. I live in CT...and I have had some years where I've ridden all 12 months. I've had some winters where I may have gone 6 close to 7 weeks without riding due to a crazy heavy snow for a while...otherwise...yeah I try to keep going. I know some riders that live more north than me...and they ride through the snow regardless.

I live in Sterling, VA and some years have ridden in every month. December, January, February riding depends on precipitation and how much salt/sand/other road treatment has been done and how close the roads resemble the street along the beach.

Along the East Coast, I would say near the North Carolina/South Carolina line and then south is your best area for year round riding.

A friend of mine moved to Prescott, AZ a couple years ago and loves it. Not near as hot as Tucson or Phoenix in the Summer and during the winter he is only an hour away from the desert and warmth.

Another vote for San Antonio,Texas or New Braunfels. You can ride year round with no problems, give or take a day here and there.

I live in south west ohio. I ride year round, thanks to Gerbing. As long as the temp is above freezing. I won't ride if any chance of ice.

Nothing wrong with San Antonio except the humidity. I ride year around but it does get hot in July and August. That time of year i am up early for a ride, have some breakfast and back home by 11. God luck
