Blackened Cayenne Sunglo?....really?...you've GOT to be kidding.
I think they should fire the girl in charge of thinking up the names for colors.
I think even I could do a better job.
Here's some of MY samples: 'Dung Beetle Fire-mist Black', or 'Raging PMS Red Outburst', or 'I Peed My Pants Laughing Yellow/Gold Metallic Glo-Worm'?
Whatever happened to 'Gloss Black'?
I agree with the color name thing. It's all kinda gay. But have you seen Blackened Cayenne Sunglo? It's awesome.
I think Harley's color pallette this year is atrocious. Among the worst ever. While I don't totally disagree with dickey, tons of Harley owners get custom paint. You could get new tins and bags and have them painted while keeping the stock tins. That's an expensive option.
Not a huge fan of the current colors, but there are a couple that are really nice. Really like the Daytona Blue. One of the nicest colors they've had (second to the color of my bike).
And that's the way it was and we LIKED IT! I remember when a quarter only cost a nickel!!
Hell, I remember when a Dollar only cost a NicKel.
Nickel Cokes; penny candy; gas .21 @gal;
McDonald's Cheeseburger, fry's and coke was I think $.38 cents and if it took longer than 30 secs to get, it was free.
Dairy Queen, two dogs and Lr malt was .45 cents.
Of course I was still in H school and making .75 cents an hr working in the meat dept learning to be a Butcher at our local Grocery store.
Had my 57 Chevy and a 305 Super Hawk.. and had money to burn while still living at home, pre kids and wife.
