Glad you're OK. Like some others said, get a real good lawyer. The truck driver is going to say he didn't see you, and his insurance company is going to say you knowingly took a risk when you got on your motorcycle. Been there, done that.

The wreck I got in, it was the other's guys insurance company that contacted me first. Still in hospital. Stayed there 2 weeks.

Did he actually hit you, or did you lay the bike down trying to avoid him? If it's the latter, it may be your insurance company that will be the one paying.

Unfortunately, I believe you hit the nail on the head. OP says he doesn't remember exactly what happened and it doesn't sound like the truck actually hit him.

First and most important aspect is that it doesn't sound like you're too banged up! Sucks being in the hospital, but if you're feeling good enough to type about it you'll probably be ok.
