2000 miles in 2years??? I ride that in 2 weeks! And for the same money as he is asking I can walk in to any dealership in the country, buy a NEW DYNA for full retail with everything that your friends bike has and more, including custom paint, wheels, seat, pipes, breather, 110cid (Harley rates by CID, NOT CCs!) and ABS brakes. This listing even made it on to a couple of Harley forums, where you are both being LAUGHED AT.
Actually, I could by a new 2013 Streetglide for less than he is asking
Tell your friend to dohis homework and try again.
NADA calls the bike asworth $8700.00.
This was his reply:
Well first of all No oneis laughing at me. But I am laughing at you. I am posting for an old man thatcan not do it for his self. He has cancer so he is unable to ride. No one askedhow often you ride. This is what he feels that the bike is worth. No one askedyou for your opinion. If you are not interested then move on. So maybe youshould try again. Thanks
Maybe a few more of us should try to help him realize that he's doing this "poor old man with cancer" a disservice by NOT telling him the truth of what the bike is worth...unless he has ulterior motives and doesn't want the bike to sell so he can low-ball the widow...
