Whats up HDF,
Anybody ever have a Biltwell Gringo Helmet? Been looking to get a new helmet. I like the extra safety of a full face but looking for something that lets me wear some sun glasses and lets a little wind in your face. Plus I like the old school look. What you thinking ? and any other suggestions?
Thanks
Ride Safe
There's a thread around here somewhere in which several guys commented on the head shape problem with this helmet. I can't remember all the details whether it was oval or round shaped heads that were having the trouble, but you should definitely search that out. I can speak from experience that the wrong shaped helmet can ruin your ride. I had a helmet (not the Biltwell) that was too oval shaped and after 30 minutes would give me a raging migraine. Pushed on the sides of my head too hard. There were also issues w/ peripheral vision mentioned if I remember correctly.
