It does not say the ride has to be in Queensland, spam the **** outta the ******* and make them realise how ****in dumb their rules are.

A club could register their ride and leave late leaving the cops waiting round, or leave early to beat the weather, or they could register their ride and cancel, are these govt's and cops really this dumb?

Seems the place is being run by kindergarden children.

Register Your Ride , lol ****wits.

I'm gonna print that news bit up and post it down at the local poser bar along with your suggestion, the boys will have a field day playing with that one .

Sent them a flyer for Chicagoland Toys for Tots, December 1st. Should be good for about 35,000 bikes.

They're gonna need more Port-A-Pottys.

The new laws are certainly being challenged in court on the basis that they infringe and violate basic human rights and freedoms, but until a court order overturns them, they are being enforced.

The latest bit of stupid to come out of this is now clubs have to register any runs they go on with the police at the point of departure and destination. Currently this applies to groups of 12 bikes or more but "the Man" is introducing new legislation to enforce this for 3 bikes or more.

here is the online registration site... http://www.police.qld.gov.au/forms/registerride.asp

not registering your clubs ride can result in hefty fines and ALL bikes in a group being seized.

I certainly understand LEOs have a hard and often thankless job, and i have no issue with the Law doing their job with respect to dealing with criminal activities, but enforcing what amounts to a police state mentality is going way too far!

and people ask me why I am not keen to return to Aussie.....

More info here from the united Motorcycle council Queensland regarding the laws and how they are being fought. http://www.umcinc.com.au/
That is a garbage laws. Now if that isn't communist like, I don't know what is.

As I read this, it is voluntary and their aren't any fines or bike seizures for not registering. However, to your point of targeting OMC's, a little further research turned up the following:

What happens if members of criminal organisations attend my ride?

It is possible that members of criminal organisations may attend your ride either wearing their colours or individually. Those members commit a criminal offence if there are three or more of them together in a public place and they may be subject to police action. QPS recommends that you discourage members of criminal organisations from participating in your rides.

What is a criminal organisation?

Criminal Organisations are declared in Schedule 1 of the Criminal Code (Criminal Organisations) Regulation 2013 and are declared by specific name. There are currently 26 declared criminal organisations in Queensland.

Entities declared to be criminal organisations
• the motorcycle club known as the Bandidos

• the motorcycle club known as the Black Uhlans

• the motorcycle club known as the Coffin Cheaters

• the motorcycle club known as the Comancheros

• the motorcycle club known as the Finks

• the motorcycle club known as the Fourth Reich

• the motorcycle club known as the Gladiators

• the motorcycle club known as the Gypsy Jokers

• the motorcycle club known as the Hells Angels

• the motorcycle club known as the Highway 61

• the motorcycle club known as the Iron Horsemen

• the motorcycle club known as the Life and Death

• the motorcycle club known as the Lone Wolf

• the motorcycle club known as the Mobshitters

• the motorcycle club known as the Mongols

the motorcycle club known as the Muslim Brotherhood

Movement

• the motorcycle club known as the Nomads

• the motorcycle club known as the Notorious

• the motorcycle club known as the Odins Warriors

• the motorcycle club known as the Outcasts

• the motorcycle club known as the Outlaws

• the motorcycle club known as the Phoenix

• the motorcycle club known as the Rebels

• the motorcycle club known as the Red Devils

• the motorcycle club known as the Renegades

• the motorcycle club known as the Scorpions
I would say Queensland really doesn't want any 1%ers around.

How far apart do you have to be to not be riding together? There are a few missing as per rico. What happens when the government is involved in criminal activity?

for legitimate motorcycle associations or clubs

Voluntary

do some research before jumping to conclusions. Clubs met with gov't rep to come up with this, they were not targeted.

Here in BC we have a few organized rides with 1,000's of bikes. The LEO was there leading the parade, at every major intersection blocking traffic and we were going through red lights and stop signs. each year the 1% do a toy run.

They do appear to be targeting 26 clubs of 1% in Aus, not permitting more than two congregating together, but that is not the current topic

Wondering, do U have any car clubs or even any type of (motorized group) that used the roads over there... do they have to fill out any forms if they have a road trip with 12 cars/vehicle or more.? If not then their singling out bikers which is IMO WRONG..
