Yea the weather is nice, but how many times can you ride on the same road without getting bored? Someone beat me to this comment... Only so much room on those islands...lol

As I said before...I get to ride my bike any day of the year and can be on the mainland in 5 hours any other day of the year. My riding isn't restricted to the Islands but I don't have to look at my bike sitting in a garage for months at a time. I retire in less than 3 years (of course I only work 2 weeks a month anyway) and will definitely have a bike stored at my Bro's house in Oregon. Meanwhile, I will keep riding his RK.
Best of all - when I wake up in the morning I am not in NJ. I can live anywhere in the world and still do my job. I choose Hawaii and I don't even work here.

must be boring to ride the same roads over and over. must be tough racking up many miles on an island. here on the mainland, i can do 20,000 miles a year and never ride the same route twice. to each his own.
How many miles did you rack up today? It will be 82 here again today so I guess I will go for another BORING ride around the Island. I doubt that it will be boring or any less beautiful than yesterday.
BTW, every morning that I am home I have been walking for over an hour at surnrise on the same BORING beach for over 24 years. It is less than a 5 minute walk from my house.
Racking up miles isn't everything in life, but I can go to the mainland in summer and do that, too. To each his own.
