Default Daytona TwinTec Ignition Module??

I'm doing a carb conversion, and I need an ignition module. I heard the Daytona is good - are there others that are any better? Looking at Daytona part/number 1008, the Race Version.

Thanks!

I had the HeadQuarters version of the DTT; it was OK but I switched it out for an S&S and that was a good move; knock sensor with the S&S is nice to have with todays variable/crappy fuel, especially if you travel...

As for carbs, I've always used CV's; couldn't see enough "return" for the price diff on a Mikuni.

What is the s&s ignition module you are talking about? I am about to do the same thing with a built cv carb.

I'm interested in knowing which S&S module will work, especially if it's better!

This is it on the S&S site; it's more complicated and expensive than the rest but is only installed once then you are done.
As for carbs; I've had a 100hp Sporty and 3 twin cams built and never used anything but a stock re-jetted CV...40, 44 and 51. If I build another carb bike I will repeat this formula.
I should add that I've been up to 3000 miles from home on my rides; I suppose different considerations apply when modifying.

I have the DTT, and right off I would say that the advantage is that it is adjustable without any special tool to connect to it. It is plug and play, adjust with a small screwdriver.
