Thought I was having intake and carb issues, plugs turning white, idle going up and down and down on power. Pulled the carb and everything looked good made some adjustments and still the same. While I had the carb off I took intake off and resealed it and still the same. Then I decided to check the ignition advance after researching the forum and sure enough one spring was broken off and the rest of it was rusty and loose as hell.
So I scored a new Rivera ignition advance and Dyna S electronic ignition module, installed both, static timed it and HOT DAMN !! this bike runs sooooooo much better it ain't even funny ...it also kick starts on first kick damn near everytime

Reason: adding stuff
Been running the single fire Dyna S now for 17 years , check and lube the advance every 5K and it will last forever with a spring change every 3 or 4 years.
I personally do Not prefer the single fire...but, I would use one...I like the Dyna-S.
As stated...they live longer with at least a [measured, not advertised] 4-5 ohm coil...
