Default 89 FLHS ignition/carb

Well I asked a while back how to tell if my bikes missing and hesitation was carb or ignition. Followed suggestions here with new plugs, plug cables, checked connections, removed the carb and made sure it clean and working right. Unfortunately it is still missing as much as before, any ideas where to go from here.
Thanks

Default 89 missing

Well after replacing just about everything the reason my FLHS was missing was due to a bad ignition module. Unfortunately the riding season is just about over here and it is running better than ever.

That was me last year!

I started this summer finally running better than ever, then transmission issues and a rebuild, and clutch issues part of the summer... fixed now.

It's oil leaks now. Looks like those 25 year old oil lines are needing replacement.

Gotta love the "vintage" bikes. It's ALWAYS something.

Glad to hear you got this issue done.

Congratulations on getting to the bottom of the problem. At least next season you'll be ready to roll!

Well after hearing Johnny's troubles I hope I will be riding. This 89 sat for a number of years and I have changed alot on it. Suspect oil lines will be next. I have to admit, I was about to give up on it though.
