Default Central IL Dyno??

Bought my 07 Heritage in March and it already had V&H Big Shots Long on it and doesn't appear to have had anything else done to it. I am not one to burn up the road but it just seems like it could have a little more giddy up. Want to install a Stage 1 AC and get it tuned, figured would be where to start first. Does anyone know of a good Dyno guy in Central IL? I am willing to travel a few hours but do in case ever need any changes do not want to go too far. Have heard of a few guys South of Chicago that are pretty good but that would be almost a 4 hr haul.

Dustin Smith at Legacy HD in Effingham, IL.
Best tuner in the area IMO & he's done all the work and tuning on my bike. I highly recommend him, and the dealer for that matter. Had nothing but good experiences with everyone there.
Thinking this should be about 1 1/2 hours from you. Mapquest shows 1 hour 24 minutes.

The V&H's BSL's are not good TQ makers in the 2-3K rpm's range..
Lots of other pipes that will make better TQ in the lower rpms.

There is Bob Egizio at Harley of Chicago in Country side and the other was Valley Racing in Beecher which is down by Kankakee. Read it here in a post actually saved the page in case I had to make the trek.

They were on it when I bought it and I do like the sound of them. I am sure there are better ones out there but will probably keep them on.

I originally had mine tuned on a dyno at a dealership in Rock Falls. Ended up having problems with the bike a couple months later. Come to find out the tune was way off and they way it was set up didn't make any sense. I ended up getting my bike retuned at Blue Collar Bikes in Spring Valley, they don't have a dyno, but I was very surprised at how the tune turned out.

So I guess I'm saying the seat of the pants tune on the roads where it's going to be ridden worked out a lot better for me than a climate controlled, perfect conditions dyno room.
