I like both the side road and the slab. Lots of times I ride side roads until I know it's time to get home and then I'll hop on the slab and scream back home.

Most interstates don't really go through any scenic areas. Don't like the wind at speed, and at high speeds, everything happens too fast to be able to relax & enjoy it.

My favorite type of cruising? Deserted country roads in my area at about 35-40 MPH.

I like to rde so it dont much matter which I ride on unless I have somewhere to be. I really prefer the interstate in small jumps like 200 miles here and there. The lanes are wide and the shoulders are wide which gives you plenty of room to move around. Winter and fall I try to stay away from the back roads and all the animals

Dickey, you're getting old. The only time I am under 35 is in my driveway.

I just hate interstates and try to avoid them as much as possible, especially when I'm on the bike. When it comes to riding give me a nice two lane road and 55 mph and I'm in heaven.

West of the Mississippi they are great. When my goal was to do the PCH from Seattle south, I got there on the third day with a 69 mph average. Then did a nice tour down the coast.

I dont mind the interstate back in the US. It can get a little sketchy here in Mexico, but if you stay on the quota, as they cal it here you'll be fine. Once to the other highway ( the libre or free highway) from Ojenaga to Jimenez. I saw no one or nothing for 300 miles. at one point I started praying that nothing would happen to me or the bike becuase I literally was in the middle of nowhere. When I finally got back to Torreon, I told a buddy what route I took and he told me I was insane for going that way that is is called the Death highway. He asked me to please not go that way again. THank God I made it ok. I will not go that way again, however pretty and peaceful it was.

I don't discriminate. I love all roads. Even gravel roads can be fun if the gravel isn't too loose. I enjoy riding the slab and when you gotta make time there's nothing better than the interstate.

Got my EG and now my SG specifically to eat miles on the interstate. Love riding out on the slab and then being able to go on the backroads.

If I didn't like the slab so much I'd have kept my FXR and ripped around locally.
