Anyone that has bought a Harley Leather Jacket knows that when they are new they are stiff, I would like to keep it in the best shape as possible but would like it to loosen up a bit - wear it in some,
A Friend told me to use the same Leather cleaning/conditioner I use on my Seat on the jacket every day until it reaches the point that I am comfortable with but no more than 10 straight days, then to apply it once every month or so to keep the Leather protected. Is this the best way? or is there a better solution to use?
I know when I do my seat it leaves it a little moist with a thin coat on it that stays for a few hours or so..
Just wear it. Even in the house if need be. The more you wear it the better it will fit your body and the softer it will get. There are ways to cheat but IMHO it just shortens the life of the leather.
I am sure others will disagree. Lustily my 2 cents
