OK, so back in the day when good deals were more easily had, I acquired an early 61 Topper less the engine and control panel. Rumor had it the original A engine was thrown down a well and a Briggs and Stratton conversion was in process. Fortunately, the frame or body weren't cut in the process. I bought it about 25 years ago and have had it collecting dust since. Want to get it running and will upgrade to the AH. All I have located everything needed except the cylinder and the larger carb. I know the Topper isn't exactly a highly sought after ride, but, hey, its a Harley. Any help would be much appreciated.
Also have a 1950 G Servicar and all I'm needing now is a source for cadmium plating and sheet metal work. Want it done right without chrome and bondo. That said, the name of a plating shop and a really good metal finisher would also be appreciated.
Will be nice to get back into the restorations.
Thanks in advance.
