I'm sad to admit but unless it rains (cleaning method number 1) or its at dealer for warranty work (they wash) I just ride it. I know it looks good clean but it looks clean when I ride by. If it's parked you're likely to notice dirt and grime. But I bought it to ride I get so little time that I'd rather ride a dirty bike then look at a clean one.

I wax it a couple times a year. Right now it's 4 degrees out so it's time to take all the chrome off and polish it all up.
I live in a rural area and my roads are crap , you know the state and counties are broke so the roads go to hec. Just getting out to the main road sometimes gets the bike dirty. But I do use pledge multi surface cleaner and a micro fiber towel to dust it, not everyday but pretty often. Doesn't take that much time out of ridin. You can spend more time at a traffic light than that, if we had them.
I've also used Lucas slick mist, this works good too. My bike is now 13 yrs. old. Not an old one by no means but most people are surprised that is is that old, doesn't look it.

California duster on paint, S-100 when caught in the rain, blow dry with shop vac, and wax with Eagle-1 Nanowax.

Been wanting to try that polish; I think it's called Zaino or something like that. Supposed to give a ridiculous shine way above anything else on the market.

Daily dusting, I don't think so. I bought my bike to ride not to display out in front of the house so people can see it. I do wash my bike when it needs it and wax it occasionally but that is all.

Original Bike Spirits works great. Spray and wipe down with a micro fiber cloth. Some of the responses on this thread is hilarious. Your not a real biker cause you like to keep your bike clean.....blah blah blah.

Good grief... not bashing y'all or nothin but y'all have horrible mentalities towards care for your bike... when its warm, I wash my car every weekend. Properly, two buckets, foam gun, the whole nine. I've had it over a year and its not showing any swirl marks. Once it warms up I'll treat my bike the same way. 23 riding, and 1 to clean. That'll be my day. Keeping it clean is just as important as keeping it maintained.

Thank you! Finally, someone who wants to take care of the beautiful vehicle that we own. I am of the school that believes that the more you care for your bike, the longer it will last. Call it OCD or whatever, I really think a lot of these opinions are totally unwarranted. Sorry that most of you just let your bikes go....... I don't need a "showpiece" , just like to take care of my vehicles so they look nice and will last.

I know a guy who was so **** & OCD he would only wash his bike with jugs of distilled water, so he could avoid the "contaminates" in the tap water...
