The seat DOES provide good back support, one of the reasons I wanted to give it a try. Because it's actually 2 separate partitions, it also helps prevent the passenger from sliding forward when braking. I'm real happy with it so far. The pipes do in fact sound awesome - maybe a little louder than I wanted, but I loved the look of the Big Radius long before I had a bike to put them on. Also looked at the Big Shot Staggered, but just decided to get what I really wanted.
