Have had an outlaw bandit from simpson since December, awesome helmet looks wise and super comfortable. Does have the vents stated above but no cause for worry.
Bell RS-1 in matte black with a photochromatic shield. Great helmet, fits well, performs well, and looks good. Easily rivals the much more expensive Bell Star.
Love my RS-1. Have it all tricked out with the photochromatic les and the Sena bluetooth setup for tunes while riding. Very nice and comfortable. Mine is the "gearhead" color model.
I have a Shoei RF-1200 in matte black and love it. One thing I miss from my previous helmet, HJC CL-Max, is the modular aspect of being able to lift the chin bar while sitting at a light or when I'm going through the gate on base.
I have been thinking about getting a half helmet, but can't seem to find one that doesn't make me look like a mushroom.
[QUOTE=HBomb74;12288693]Shoei now has the Qwest model as their sport touring helmet that is designed for upright riding positions. It is considerably cheaper than their racing models, $330 on sale. I have an X-11 and an R1100 from my sport bike days and still wear them regularly on my Fat Bob. I love Shoei's fit and finish.[/QUOTE
if your looking for a full face and don't mind spending big bucks you won't find a better helmet than the Shoei
