I have a 04 fuel injected Heritage and was thinking about putting some cams in it. Have the stage one kit in it and was wondering what I would have to do to or would suggested to do if I do this. Thanks for help.
Take the time to do the research on cams and make sure you get a set, either chain or gear driven that suit your riding style. No sense in buiding a drag bike if you do mostly highway cruising and on the flip side, no sense in getting a good highway ride if you spend most of your time in the upper rpm range.
Talk to whoever it is you'd have doing your cams and let them know what your personal riding style is and what you expect out of the cam installation. Proper selection also has a lot to do with any mods you've already done or are planning to do. It's not hard to spend a lot on a set of cams and mods and not have them well matched, only to be disappointed with the final result.
