i replaced my inner fairing brackets on my 2006 Street Glide twice. Both sides broke. So i can see the need. Caused by excessive vibration, and some HDs are cursed with more vibes than others.
Though HD has improved the brackets, with heavier speakers and amps and such that everybody is adding these days, i can see the need for these. I ride a Road Glide now though.

I've never seen these before and was curious. so its not an advertisement. My bike is in the shop so I was wondering if I needed to change mine out. some mods are for show and some are actually good. I have a 2009 flhtc.

So when did they change the bracket out?
Do I need to worry if it is the new updated bracket?

It appears that MoCo would rather keep stock holders happy than riders. JMO

They are lighter than the stock brackets so for $91.95 you can reduce the weight of your bagger from 896 lbs to 895.7 lbs.

Replaced mine last summer. Both of them were broke.

Why block an ad that you don't have to click on ?

I'd rather they ditched the stupid pop-up ad for games that won't even let me close it. If I ever see anything called Kontera I'm not going to buy it.

New modified brackets came out on the 2010 models.

I have no idea wtf those things are. I guess I should warm up the CC and buy a set. They look good being a different color and made of plastic. I bet they're really strong. I wonder where they go. lol
