Default Why?

Why would you need to replace the stock items for these?
strong-arm-inner-fairing-brackets

What are problems the problems with the stock items?

What issues does this fix?

Oh great... as if harey haven't had enough years to fix that....

I really don't understand why moco's don't watch forums and see the issues that people have after the warranty runs out or people are not happy with and change their bikes.

The MoCo doesn't care about that. They're still selling lots of bikes, that's all that matters.

Simple their engineers are given a tight budget, so they use parts that are "cost effective"

I haven't heard much about the stock inner fairing brackets breaking. Has it reached epedemic proportions?

Planned obsolescence is how business stays in business.
If HD's did not break, they would offer a lifetime warranty for them.

My inner fairing brackets were replaced on my 2008 FLHT as a service bulletin for no charge. I think the bike was only about a year old at the time.

Where have some of you had your head stuck? HD improved the bracket 4 or 5 models back. Either in the 09's or 10's at the latest.

Thinly disguised ad should be blocked.
