As others mentioned, it's a 'normal' thing.
You will find it's also 'normal' to:
- Have www.harley-davidson.com open at least 50% of the time you are on-line.
- Have your wife (or significant other) look at you in a confused manner while you are standing in the garage staring at the bike.
- Find yourself unable to reply to routine questions like"what do you want for dinner?" because you were thinking about the bike anddidn't hear the question.
- Be recognized by the staff at the local HD dealership(s) because you stop-bylooking for 'new arrival' parts way too frequently.
-Tellpeople you have absolutely nothing in common with the lastthing that you did to the bike, even though thetopic is totallyoff the subject of conversation.
- Hear the statement 'You would rather be out in the garage looking at that bike, than be in here with me...' whenever you are arguing with the wife (or significant other)
- Have a can of chrome polish, bottle of glass cleaner and a towel in your hand - so you can clean a part of your bike that isn't even dirty.
- Get odd looks from the wife (or significant other) because you slowdown to see if anything is going on at the local HD dealership - while they are closed.
- Get-up in the middle of the nite and reply to posts on www.hdforums.com because thinking about wheel upgrade options was keeping you awake.
- Get odd looks from the wife (or significant other) because you slowdown to see if anything is going on at the local HD dealership - while they are closed.

Never really "got it" until I got one...now, I can't see going back (to metric)....I go look at them, and they just don't do anything for me at all anymore.[
] Most of the styling cues are direct copycat styling....I can understand if it's a money issue.....financing for a new metric scooter can't be beat! Financing for a used HOG is very hard. The market is saturated with used HOG's now as well...that's why a used Superglide isn't worth squat. Good thing I have an attachment to mine! I would have traded her in for an '07 Wideglide in vivid black, except for the depreciation would kill me[&o]....so I modified mine to get where I wanted. The picture below is it at about 50%.Joe

The Best of Harley-Davidson for Lifelong Riders
The Harley addiction has helped me get thru this year in the desert. Don't fight it, embrace it. You never know when you will be having a crappy day and you can just close your eyes and daydream about a ride that you have done.
