i got my first hd in nov. and i am now just able to start riding her i only have a little over 100 miles as of today. but i have loved every mile like it would be my last. my question is is it wrong to think about my hd every waking breathing moment of the day and night. i just sit in the garage and look and hope for a warmer day tommorrow am i nuts or is this a common thing with first time hd owners.
No it's all perfectly normal... Especially with the salt off the road and all the sunny days we've been having here in Northern Illinois lately.I took mine out for my first 2007 ride on March 11th - plus had the day off on the beautiful 74 degree day we had last Tuesday.Off today also and rode up Rt 83 to Highway C and stopped off at Kellys Tavern in Trevorfor some of those great Buffalo Wings.Nice ride, just need to get some better gloves than these 3 dollar specials I was wearing.
Hope there's no more snow,it's the road salt more than the cold temps that worry me,the longer the salt stays gone the better I feel about being out there.
You're gonna have a blast on that thing this summer.
what you are doing sounds very normal to me. I think it is not as bad as you think since you sleep in the house. The smile you wear so proudly will last for years.
