Ya, I put it on looked it over and just don't like the way it looks.
i have a bad feeling it's going on craigslist...
Gotta talk to the dealer. They may trade you for another, but getting a refund without a restocking charge at least is asking a bit.
At San Diego Harley they often let me trial fit items in the parking lot before purchasing. They also have a bunch of demo windshields you can borrow to try them out on the road to see which one gives you the look and protection you want before opening up a new one from it's protective cover.
What Uncle Paul said. I recently had to change out my windshield because my fairing sat higher than I was used to, thus I needed a shorter windshield (it was dark so I couldn't see through it very well). The local HD dealer had a bunch of demo units they let me borrow until I found the one I wanted.
I'd think if it's still in the box, unopened, you still have the receipt and it was yesterday, I'd THINK they'd take it back. But I'm not them.
Do what Paulie said and avoid the speculation.
What he said but if you have already mounted everything to the shield like the quick detach hardware then no they won't because no one else would want to buy a returned shield unless offered at a big discount.
