what makes a biker?
[sm=confused06.gif]... DUH... A BIKE?!?!?!?!
What "doesn't" sum upwhat a biker is; is the guy who needs to keep telling you he's a biker
I guess I'd say someone who generally logs more miles on two wheels than he does on four wheels?
Someone who rides whenever he possibly can absent having to haul home a new refrigerator, bale of hay, take the familyunit someplace, etc?
Someone who's passion for riding is a part of his life and soul, not just an occasionalpast-time on a perfect weather day?

all my glove have wear on the inside between the thumb & palm.
what does it all mean. . . i dunno but when i see someone with the crisp gloves & shinny boots i wonder how can they remain so new lookin all the time. . .
Heres the deal....I have a co-worker that i have been debaiting this actual question. What makes a "Biker " vs a guy or gal that just owns a Harley ? I'm looking forward to the inputs... I myself am just a guy that owns a harley...SO is this guy I work with....He claims to be a BIKER...I want to show him this post after some good input...lol
Thanks Ben
If you had asked this question in the 60's I would see the image of a Hell's Angels member. Now days it takes on a new meaning.
First A Biker has to own a Motorcycle. Harley, or Indian preferably. Does the Victory, or Susique qualify? For sure a Vespa just doesn't bring up a biker image.
A Biker would rather straddle their Harley than crawl into any cage.
A Biker needs to put some miles on his ride. How many. I would say anything less than 1000 miles a year just won't cut it.
The last 18 months I put 11,500 miles on my Low Rider. Does that qualify?
A Biker would be able to get their hands greasy working on their ride.
A Biker doesn't care if you like their ride, it wasn't bought to impress you.
A Biker looks at their motorcycle with passion. It's not just a machine. It's a part of them.
A Biker can be a Woman. Just ask some of the ladies on this forum
Last but not least. A Biker doesn't need to brag that their a Biker. They just are.
Am I a Biker? See the line above.
