Most my riding has been solo but that's not necessarily by choice. My wife has been with me a couple times and that was great. Also ridden with a guy from work. I enjoy the solo riding but I also enjoy the company as well. Now that I live 3,000 miles away from all my friends and family, I really miss having some people to share some experiences with. I'd like to meet some more people who ride, not necessarily a large group, but 1 or 2 others would be great. To each their own.

I prefer to ride alone. For me it's one of the many reasons for having a bike. If I run across a few guys heading the same direction, I will ride along for awhile, but when I get the desire to explore I'm gone.

During the riding season, I take a short ride with a friend, I've rode with since the early '70s, every week mostly to and from where we meet up with several other long time friends. Other than that, just a few short trips of 1000 - 1500 miles or so round trip in a small group for a weekend getaway. My wife is not comfortable on a bike any longer than an hour or so and rarely comes along for these rides so it is mostly just me out on these short excursions. Its all good though, small groups, one buddy or alone.

I ride alone. And when I ride alone, I prefer to be by myself.

The bride and I ride with a group of 7-8 folks that love to ride as much as we do. It is great sharing the experiences. We also ride in at least 2 benefit rides a year. Riding with family is the best, we are all on the same page. To each his own.
