My bike stand is a 'Goodyear' and I bought it at Sams Club for $70. I agree on the skinny whitewalls on that particular bike - I think they look great.
It takes an extra few minutes to lift the bike and clean the WWW's...I just don't get the comments that they are hard to wash. Yes, they get dirty and show the dirt...but the time cleaning them really pays off. Dirty WWW's look like heck and if you can't find time to clean them then go black.
