I am looking at purchasing a tour pack and will need to get it painted to match. Does anybody know of any body shops close to New Orleans, LA that has access to Harley paint.

Bit of a ride, 2 hours.....thats a great ride on the hog. Ill just feel awkard driving a yellow bike with a blue tour pack lol. ill have to keep him in mind. There is a guy that does it locally for our HD shop, but he wants me to drop 350 just for the paint and then 150 labor. That was for a fender. I think thats kind of steep.
i bought some suede blue pearl paint from harley to have a fairing for a road king painted. took it to a painter in pasadena texas ---MILBURNS---- he told me to return the paint.he then matched up the paint himself and it matched. couldnt tell the difference. any good custom painter should be able to match yours .

One of the local custom painters wont use HD paint.I was looking to get my bags painted a few years back, and he told me he had it mixed at a local paint supplier.I dont know his beef with the HD stuff.
I then checked with my buddy who works at a body shop, and his suppliers couldnt get the pearl;special order only.
So I found out where the custom guy got his paint from;$300 later,I had a quart of flame blue pearl.Perfect match.

Think I am in the same boat because I have the Chrome Yellow which, according to another body shop that does HD work, its a pearl color and a custom order item.
Think I am in the same boat because I have the Chrome Yellow
.. careful w/the color names you use when ordering
. Yellow Pearl was an '05-'07 color PPG calls it 'Yellow Sparkle'
the Yellow Pearl on the '09 SERG had a different tint
Chrome Yellow was a '12 solid color on the Road Glide
. the '13 SG & LTD were Chrome Yellow Pearl
.. depending on which direction the lights coming from, painted pieces & parts can have a startling difference in look
