My local super size dealer still has a lot of '13's. About 25 of them, mostly FLD Switchbacks. Anyone else seeing a lot of left over bikes at the dealers?
Local owner was at the HOG meeting last Saturday (he usually shows up) and basically said sales so far this year were well ahead of expectations. I didn't pay attention to specific numbers, but I know there seems to be a lot of turnover on the sales floor -- bikes there today and gone tomorrow. And it seems that every month at the meeting there's at least one member with a new bike.
It could also be how many they stocked in the first place. A local dealer here is pretty big, but I never see more than a few of each model on the floor. Except SG and Sporty's. They seem to also have more of those

Motorcycle sales are way up at every dealer I have been to and obviously at the national level (look at the HD stock price these days). Maybe the local dealer is a graveyard for all those poor Switchbacks that can't find a home. I think that says something about the Switchback, not overall Harley sales. SJ Ron

Well I know they are moving a lot of touring bikes and softails, they always do. I'm an eastsider. Things are still "soft" around here. The unemployment numbers are down but a lot of people have just stopped looking for work.
