i just recieved word today one of my fellow riders from n.j. was involved in an accident yesterday up there. apparently he was broad sided by a women in a car and has suffered serious injuries. he underwent 6 1/2 hours of surgery lastnite on his leg and foot multiple pins and rods were inserted but as of tonite there is not much hope for saving his leg or foot or possibly both!. unfortunately the nj police decided the women did not deserve a summons due to the fact that her vision was blocked by another vehicle!!! bull sh -- t !!!!! this poor guy just picked his new ride 3 weeks ago and had not put crash bars on as of yet which may have saved some injuries to his foot! i post this info as a freindly reminder to make sure all 8 pair of eyes are wide open when you ride especially as the riding season is getting into full swing now! he has been riding for many years and has ridden all over the world and all his experience did him no defense over senseless carelessness of cagers that just don't see us out there!!! please all be safe and try to enjoy the ride eyes wide open all the time!!!!!!!!
