Last fri evening stopped at a local watering hole for a break. OL is out of town so I'm solo. Lady starts talking to me, maybe hitting on me, my radar for such things is not too reliable. Of course she sees I'm riding and says she loves rides on Harley's. So I said hell, I'll give you a ride if you want. Didn't think anything of it until later in the conversation she finds out I'm spoken for and is almost appalled that I offered her a ride. Says it's not right to give other ladies rides if I'm 'in a relationship'. Damn I didn't know that was in the instruction manual!
You are spoken for and you offered to give her a ride, interesting, you like to live dangerously, don't you.

No, I don't! Just naive I guess. I never thought of a ride on my bike as being something intimate. Just thought I was being nice. So in the future I'm going to keep things simple....GF and family only!

How old are you? You can't be that naive.... I guess it was good for a laugh though.
30 years and 3 marriages ago I would put a girl on my bike in a hot second. It takes me a while to learn the rules but this is what I've gathered up over the years: If the thought even crosses your mind for an instant that the OL "might get mad", chances are she will.
first ride I ever gave anyone the first night I picked up my first ever Harley was to a girl at a party who was NOT my girlfriend. THAT did not end well but she married me anyway, still comes up every now and then after 36 years lol..
