I recently finished a battle with cancer and a brain tumor. The tumor left me with some right side mobility issues due to where little abby-normal was sitting in my head.
So, now I can't go without a cane handy.
I'm looking for a cane mount for my heritage. Something that looks nice.
I know I can get a folding cane and not worry about, but I'd prefer to use my trusty cane pictured below, partially due to my own pride.
Sorry I can't be much help for a bike mount, I used to just bungie my cane to the side of the bike when on two wheels. But, since I now ride with a sidecar I have a place for it in there. I like my one piece cane better than any folding ones anyway. I have a couple from this place: http://www.canemasters.com/index.php...roducts_id=298
They make nice canes, a little pricey though.
how about across the handlebars? Get a couple of the ATV gun rack style slotted holders one on each side of the bar drop you cane in there and pull the holders over the slot.
I can't offer any suggestions regarding canes, but just wanted to say that I hope your health situation continues to improve and that I admire your spirit!
nice cane.... i like it. much better than a folding one.
the one guy i knew that used a solid cane just strapped it diagonally across his back. suppose that would really suck in an unplanned get off though....
Just so ya don't scar the cane up, maybe wrap it with a shop cloth where the straps hold it to the engine guard? Good luck with it, I also have mobility problems from time to time. You deserve applause!
You could try a leather shotgun scabbard, strapped vertically along the fork. It would surround much of the cane to protect the wood. i couldnt figure out how to post a picture but you can google it. Lined or unlined, maybe $75-100 bucks on line.

This is what I was thinking, like an old military riffle scabbard, and I would call Captain Itch http://www.capt-itch.com/ to build it for me. He knows leather and holsters
