The only time I see total miles talked about other than this place is when I judge bike shows (The real ones not the convention center queens). It is part of the criteria for evaluation most of the time.

Haven't been able to ride as much as I like, to much on my plate of late. A friend of mine I ran into at a local Dealer, (hadn't seen him in a couple of years), asked me how many miles on my clock. Told him I didn't know so he walked over to my bike and checked the read out. Guess he was expecting less than he saw 'cause he got real quiet when I asked him how mine compared to his. I think I'm tickling 45,000 on my '06 Deuce, 23,000 the first year I had it... then the GS came and things got busy around the homestead.
