I ordered a brown leather seat (solo) from them. Got the seat & was told give it about 200 miles to get it to brake it in.. seat fit my 07 SG like a glove. The first 200 miles was kind of uncomfortable but around the 250 mark; it turned into the best seat I've ever had right out of the box! The only other seat I have is the stock seat the meancity modded for me... Great for touring 2 up The solo I keep on 95% of the time.
These stories are why I ordered my C & C, excellent quality and customer service. I really wanted the Corbin solo for my 2010 Ultra but wasn't willing to take the chance with their customer service.
To continue my story below . . my Corbin issue is STILL an ongoing story of idiocy from the jerks at Corbin!! . . . and I still have not received a seat that works after putting in the order the first of February and receiving two seats that they admit are not built right after I sent photos and they checked their mold at the factory. Supposedly they have a third seat to send, but they now screwed up pick up of the old seat with Fed Ex by giving them the wrong address!! The won't send the new seat until they receive the old seat (that is no good to anyone) so I'm two weeks away from receiving the third seat!! And who knows if it will fit correctly?
Now the person I have been dealing with for months is blocking my emails and not picking up my calls. I got a supervisor (supposedly) on the phone today . . . he couldn't have been more apathetic if he tried. What a sorry *** company! For those of you who got lucky ordering from them, more power to you . . but once you have to deal with customer service, you are most likely screwed! It blows my mind they are still in business or that anyone can run a business like this. Their F and D rating with Better Business Bureau are well deserved!

I don't know how they stay in business with their shoddy work and terrible customer service!! Seems IF you can go there and have them build / fit a seat you can get satisfaction. If you have to order from them it's hit or miss and if it's "miss' you are screwed. I plan on starting a thread myself . . . . detailing what I have been through (with photos) to warn people.

I like Corbin seats, but I buy them on Ebay. I have 2 for my softail that cost me $75 (classic solo with studs, leather, like the OP wanted) and $25 (gunfighter). I think I paid another $50 for a Corbin backrest and $125-150 for a locking Corbin Close Solo for my wife's Sportster.
I would never pay more than $150 or buy a new one - too many good deals on used ones out ther.
