I've known Harley riders that have said that anything other than a Harley is not a motorcycle. I've been to Show & Shines where they had an old Honda and a slegehammer where you could beat the bike with... Really ridiculous...
A lot of Jap bike riders have wasted their breath defending their bikes to me and making excuses for what they ride. I have had sport bike riders go on and on about Harleys being slow junk.
Personally I don't care what you ride. Most of the guys I ride with don't either (although most do ride Harleys, there's one Honda)
