I will still and always refuse to put one of these homing devices anywhere. Nobody has any business knowing I am travelling away from home and what time I go through check point A and check point B. The reason they're not smaller is there's more in there than they're telling you. I just drove the new toll road last week, there's some interesting looking communication structures I had never seen before, speed measurement? Seat belt warning chime detectors? Just can't trust ANY Illinois politicians.
You must be one hell of a conspiracy therorist.

Just suspect they're not always telling you everything.

Your Texas toll tag does not have to be mounted or visible. My wife and I carry ours in our jackets or on our persons. The tag works like a transponder using radio waves. We have had no difficulty using toll roads.

I was told by the county toll road folks here in Houston, if I put it in my saddlebags (which I don't have) or in the windshield bag (which I do have) it can be read.

can't vouch for that - but, haven't gotten a citation in the mail yet, either.

I run Texas 130 and 45 quite a bit from up here in Georgetown. Mine is mounted to the inside top of my tourpak. I've never had a problem. [/align]

Those are the new devices their trying out. Mind reading units sold to the state by IBM. Not sure where they got the technology. The ONLY way to combat those is aluminum foil. I suggest you try it. Ya never know.
