Default Thinking about PC III

Have a 2006 Deuce and thinking about going to Stage !. Already have SE slip on pipes. Talked briefly to dealer about adding the air cleaner and doing the remapping. See many of you also get the PC III. Is there much of a difference of doing the Stage one with or without the PC III? And I see on PC's web site about the PC III EX. Is this really new or is this what most of you all already have. Just want to get something more if I go with the PC. And will get it all dyno tuned. More that likely at Highland Harley in Somerset Pa as I've been reading their pretty good and rather reasonable in labor. Thanks for any imput.

Just got rinehart slip ons, SE air cleaner and PC from fuel moto.

PC came pre mapped from fuel moto. They have many more maps than dynojet.
I am very happy with results.
I called fuel moto to tell them I was happy and did they think it would be at all neccessary to get dyno and custom map. They really see no reason for it.
It will get you a little more however if it is important to you,
If you go for the dyno tune I would get whatever tunning device your tuner prefers,

George

You need some sort of tuning device when going to stage 1.
PC111 is a good choice. While the map from Fuelmoto will be quite close, all bikes are different. I got mine dynoed and there was a noticeable improvement.
The EX version satisfies California ARB requirements and utilizes the o2
sensors which you don't have anyway.

I also have a 2006 model (Softail Standard) without the O2 sensors.
I have RUSH slip on pipes/Stage 1 DL/SE Air Clearner Kit
I went with the PCIII USB version and couldn't be happier.
I had to ride approx 30 miles to get the bike Dyno Tuned with just the above mods.
After the DYNO, the ride home was ...one word...
"WOW"
The bike turned into a "get on & hold on" machine.
The throttle response was amazing, as well as gained HP & Torgue.
But now, when I twist the throttle, I had best be holding on, no more waiting for the
power band to catch up, it's now!
