My '13 FXDF has that raw fuel smell from the exhaust as well, because I removed the cat from the headpipe. When you get rid of the cat, you are going to smell some un-burned fuel. Just kinda the way it is.

I agree, but at least Shell Gas does not have that smell at all.

How many tanks of Shell have you gone through and have you switched back to Mobil to see if that stuff still smells?

I've run 1 tank of Shell and 1 tank of Union 76. Smell is gone. I was thinking about trying the Mobile again to double check. Good call.

If you use a pump where one nozzle works all 3 grades how much of the regular gas do you get before you start getting premium.

Had a "gas" smell on a bike one time.
Turned out to be Chili I had been eating.

I try for this - when I cannot I use any hi test - 92 and above.

It blends before it ever reaches the nozzle.
