Dyna help !!???

As was mentioned a Dyna has an official model designation of FXD__ or FLD__. That plus if it has rear exposed shocks and isn't a Sportster with the unit construction engine (everything in a single case) and it's a current model, it's a Dyna.

If it's a pre Twinkie engine and has rear shocks then it's NOT on the website anyway and isn't your original question.

I'm not sure what the confusion is. The HD website is fairly self-explanatory. This isn't rocket science.

I feel the same way. He says that he isn't new to Harleys but Dyna's are one of the basic bikes out there and he says he doesn't know what one looks like, crazy.
