If you want to connect with more than 3 don't get the smh10 get the 20, Look at cardo and uclear also. I just ordered the cardo scalarider Q2 it was used, I will get it Friday but I only want it for a solo trip to Canada for 10 days. I will provably sell it after I get back because I usually use a CB
Good to hear, I plan on installing it in the same helmet. Was told by dealer to get the universal mount kit with the separate mic (not the boom mike) for a full face helmet. Could you post pics of where you mounted the ear speakers and routed the wires?
Right now I just have the wires up against the padding in the helmet. There is probably a way to route them under the padding or something, but I have not bothered with that yet (just set this up 2 weeks ago). You don't need any additional mount or anything; the SMH-10 comes with everything you need. Here is my review on Amazon: http://www.amazon.com/review/R34V76L...cm_cr_rdp_perm
I got the SMH 10 sena with the universal mount which is what Revzilla recommends for a FF helmet. Same as regular model except the microphone is separate from the unit. This allows for a cleaner install in a FF helmet. There is no mike on a boom to move out of the way when you put the helmet on. It just permanently attaches to the front of the helmet where you do not have to touch it again.
Sound quality is amazing and operating it is intuitive and easy with gloves on, while riding. I especially like being able to adjust the volume while riding. It works well with the voice commands on my android phone.
One issue is that these work much better with a FF helmet or modular helmet from what I have read. I would imagine the amount of wind blast you get with a 3/4 helmet, even with a visor, would detract from performance and sound quality, unless you were behind a huge Gold Wing like windshield. They are not mountable on half helmets. My FF helmet has a chin skirt which further reduces wind turbulence inside the helmet. In this environment sound quality is amazing. About the only thing missing is the deep bass boom you get with high quality headphones that seal around the ear, but treble and midrange is excellent and some bass is still present. Music quality is great at 60 mph and still decent at 85.
After only using this for a short while, just installed it this evening and only rode with it once, I kind of feel like a motorcycle without bluetooth headset is like a car without a stereo. If I knew they were this good I would have got one a long time ago. Just being able to effortlessly listen to MP3s while riding and change songs with voice command and adjust volume while riding, is worth the price of admission.
One thing I miss though is not being able to use the FM radio on my phone. Because there are no phones plugged in to the phone there is no FM antenna which is required for reception. When you do plug in the phones music is no longer sent to the sena headset. I might have paid a little more to get a unit with built in FM if I knew this.
The other great thing is being able to communicate with other riders and your passenger. It makes riding with others more enjoyable. Sound quality is fantastic doing this as are telephone calls.

Hopefully your fullface has removable pads as you want the wiring to run under them do you dont see them. Makes for a much cleaner install. I use my smh10 everyday commuting to work and it has been awesome
Wife and I have the SMH10. Bluetooth works great for phone and music streaming. I can control my iPhone with the SMH10 by pressing the buttons or by voice commands. On last years week long trip we recharged them every other day, 'just because'. Battery life is great.
Totally waterproof. I use earbuds (to help with wind-noise) so I have the earbud/boom mic adapter for my helmet.
We ride with 2 others that have SMH10s and how we get paired is:
bike 1 - pair together (rider/passenger)
bike 2 - pair together (rider/passenger)
then we pair the 2 passengers or riders together. We can get around the 3 pairing per device issue this way.
We've had 6 people connected in this way before.
pair A - B together
pair B - C together
pair C - D together
when A & B are talking, B can bring C into the conversation, then C can bring D into the conversation and so forth...

Thought about getting a set of these for a while and finally ordered the Sena 20s yesterday. Should get it on Tuesday and will do little review of it after I try it out. Mainly am only wanting it for music on longer rides. I plan on using it with an old iPhone 4 that I no longer use as a phone but still is great as a music player. In the process of making a magnetic tank case for it out of leather. Already wet formed the main body of the case, will probably finish it up sometime this weekend schedule permitting.
