The Angels. Brings back some memories from the late 70's. I'm a Royals fan and remember the battles with Nolan Ryan, Rod Carew vs George Brett, Hal McRae. I used to listen to every Royals game on a little transistor radio. Fun times.
Uh...no.

I stopped into the Angels support gear store on Main St last year. About 10 full patched guys hanging out there with some tattooing going on in the back I believe. It's a definite different aura in the room not like a HOG Meeting for sure.
I did Daytona once, it was in 1979. can you still ride the beach?
I believe there are still some areas but none of the real action is near the beach. it's all a little more west, by the speedway. Biketoberfest is my favorite though. It's quieter and bikers only. Bike Week is on the same week as Spring Break. And you know Florida with Spring Breakers! So, not only do you have drunken motorcycle riders on the road, but combine that with massively drunken college kids and you have one hell of a mess. Because of this, there are a LOT of cops everywhere, even on horseback.
I was planning on going for the first time this year, but my brother decided to get married the first week of Aug. The bright side....we went Vegas last week for his bachelor party.....that was a good time!
