A friend of mine said he got hit in the mouth by a bright and colorful butterfly. He must have swallowed most of it cause he said he sh!+ in techni-color for a week.

I had some sort of bug crawling up my leg last week. I could feel it getting closer and closer to my crotch and I almost started to panic. I pulled over and pulled my jeans down to find out what it was. I couldn't find it but the people passing by seemed to get a kick out of it.

It the June Bugs here that'll get you. Those things leave welts. [:@]
It gives me the dry heaves (after a hard night on the Tequila)when I hear my dog eating those crunchy *****.
Hahahahaha - no kidding!

Yeah, those flying bricks are up here in MN every Summer evening:

Couple years ago the Wife took a wasp/hornet/yellowjacket down the top - damn thing got her 3 times on her left side before she got it outta' there. I've never seen her stop and get off her bike so fast before in my life - so much so she forgot to put the kickstand down first. Took a smoke break for a few minutes after that - heh.

Big Black carpenter bee dead center of my chin at 70mph while riding ole 66 2 weeks ago, broke the skin. My buddy 20+ years ago was hit by a crow while we were canyon racing at well over 100mph, but he was lucky enough to stay on the bike until he stopped. Then he started tearing off his jacket and shirt, his right side of his chest was bruised already. We still laugh about that one.

Years ago I had a full face helmet on with the shield up and a bee flew in and got up under the padding on my cheek, stung me three times before I could get the damn thing off! Swelled up like a chipmunk for a few days so that I couldn't ride. Bike was all I had at the time so I had to bum rides to work.

NO arguement here, JUNE BUGS!!!!!!!
And you can see them coming, they look like 'bombers' at times.
I believe I have ducked one or two, and Momma got them.
What was that "time until naked" comment?
The other scenario, goes the 'other' direction. Those tiny Mayflies. When they 'hatch' there are so MANY of them, the roads get 'slick' as snot from them. Many a scooter tramp has gone down hitting a patch or layer of them things. Just like "black ice".
Can't count the bee sting numbers over the years. But dozens, I believe.
Took a 'direct hit' from a pheasant out home in SoDak. It flew up out of the ditch, just as I got even with it. Hit me under the right arm pit, alomost tipped the whole rig over. And that was back in the 'grubby biker' days, NO DEODORANT, that'll teach that 'wiley' bird to attack a biker. [:-][:-][:-][:-][:-]

I was riding around Upstate NY last year, was in some town in the business district in the middle of the summer at a stoplight.

In the distance I see some big bug flying at a distanceand I for some reason I was watching it, all of the sudden the thing comes flying straight at me full bore, I felt it hit the ear strap on my helmet. I freaked out but only on the inside. All of the sudden I started geting this incredibly sharp pain near my left ear and I start hitting my helmet, and ear strap finally find spot to pull over and rip of the helmet but bug was gone and didn't really have any marks.

The best one was the Giant dragon fly I hit doing about 60, hit me right in the area where your neck meets your chest. Very little mess to my surprise.

Love Bug season is starting again in Central Florida. Happens twice a year. They won't knock you off your bike, but the mess and the smell will damn near kill you. They will plug an oil cooler, if you have one, and ruin chrome and paint.
